Magazines

The majority of my work has been for print publications and so a lot of what I've written in the past can't be found online, since the digital issues that are available only go back so far. That's the reason I started the Reggae Chronicles yet there's something special about magazines, and I still can't resist the smell of ink and feel of shiny paper as you turn the pages of a freshly printed copy.

The reality is that all the ones I write for are dependent upon advertising for survival, and that's not a healthy position to be in given Facebook and other media giants' dominance. Yet with every issue the respective editors do their level best to look good, cover the stories and releases that matter, nurture talented writers and photographers and bring their readers closer to what it is they're interested in - namely the music we all care so deeply about, and love to share.
