Echoes Magazine - March 2020

This was the last issue of Echoes Magazine to come out before the COVID-19 lockdown. The lead reggae feature outlines the Bob Marley 75th Birthday celebrations scheduled for 2020, as explained by his eldest son Ziggy Marley. The other centres on Jamaican singer I-Taweh, whose Reload album is a stirring example of 21st Century roots reggae music, whilst Run The Track highlights singles by Christopher Martin, Koffee, Sean Paul, Romain Virgo, Agent Sasco and many others. I've also written reviews of albums by Chezidek, Mikey Spice, Oba Simba and American band Treehouse, as well as an account of UK sound-man Lloydie Coxsone's latest descent into racism and violence.
