Vin Morgan Meets Lone Ark

Vin Morgan is a founder member of the Soul Defenders, who played on hits by Culture, Burning Spear, Freddie McKay and many others in the early 70s. Vin continued to work and record for Studio One after the group disbanded, and this showcase album - with each of six vocal tracks, followed by a dub - heralds his re-emergence as a veteran roots talent. Roberto Sanchez created the music, and thanks to producer Herve Brizec of Iroko Records for commissioning me to write the liner notes.
