Echoes Magazine - February 2020
Jah9 and Busy Signal are the two main reggae features in February's Echoes, which is the first to introduce alternative front covers. Both artists talk about their latest albums - Jah9's Note To Self is a bold and highly imaginative work, whilst Busy is the master of all styles and articulate as ever when discussing Africa, some of his favourite producers and mentors such as Bounty Killer and Josey Wales.
There are reviews of new albums by Sizzla, Lutan Fyah and Belgian nine-piece band Jamaican Jazz Orchestra, as well as Iroko's reissue of Michael Palmer's I'm Still Dancing. Run The Track has new singles by Lila Ike, Nattali Rize, Bulby York, Romain Virgo and Randy Valentine, whilst this month's Vibe column is devoted to outstanding female contributors to the reggae cause including Koffee, Naomi Cowan, VP Records' Miss Pat and Nadine Sutherland.
