Echoes 2022 - October Issue

Tanya Stephens is Jamaica's outstanding lyricist, and has been for many years. I always look forward to our encounters and hearing her candid, thoughtful and thought-provoking views on whatever she's been writing about. This latest interview covers a lot of ground, including the ageing process, helping victims of sexual trauma and the joys of collaboration.

In the same issue we talk to Kabaka Pyramid about his latest album The Kalling; review new singles by Protoje & Lila Ike, Bugle & Dexta Daps, Christopher Martin, Julian Marley, Beres Hammond and Lutan Fyah & Sun Dub, among others, and pay tribute to Aswad's Drummie Zeb, who died in early September. We also review this month's latest album releases by the likes of Jimmy Cliff, the Soul Revivers, Tippa Irie and the cast of the hit Bob Marley musical, Get Up Stand Up.
