Echoes Magazine - June 2021 Issue

In this issue UB40 celebrate the release of Bigga Baggariddim - an album that revives a concept first used on their Baggariddim set from the eighties. This one's far more diverse, and features guest artists from places like India, Jamaica, New Zealand and the UK, voicing original material over riddims borrowed from the band's last album For The Many.

Jesse Royal discusses his latest set Royal, and Radio 6 DJ Don Letts' new book There And Black Again is the subject of my Vibes column. This month's reggae album reviews include an impressive compilation from Addis Records (Rebels With A Cause), Ginjah's The Reggae Soul Man, a reissue from Rico Rodriquez and Rebelution's In The Moment, whilst Run The Track highlights singles by Nakkia Gold & Wiz Khalifa, Common & Damian Marley, Spice, Samory I and Pressure Buss Pipe, among others.
