Nattali Rize has long been a favourite of mine, and I even named one of my books after her song Rebel Frequency a few years back. She talks about her latest album Liberate in our lead reggae feature of this issue - the other being a tribute to the late Cocoa Tea, who sadly passed away shortly before publication.
In our monthly Vibes column we review two impressive new books - Walshy Fire's The Art Of Dancehall (a compendium of dancehall flyers) and Hit Me With Music, featuring stories and photographs by Lee Jaffe, who enjoyed close relationships with Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and members of the Wailers during the seventies.
Lutan Fyah's Strength And Resilience is our Reggae Album Of The Month. We also review new releases by Zion I Kings, Roots Architects and Duane Stephenson, plus revival compilations featuring Prince Buster and Studio One.
