Echoes Magazine - August 2022

Thanks to Horace Andy and also Mista Savona for their interviews in this month's Echoes. Both celebrate the release of new albums - Horace with the Arian Sherwood produced Midnight Rocker, and Mista Savona with the eagerly awaited Havana Meets Kingston 2 starring Jamaican veterans such as Sly and Robbie, and a host of talented singers and musicians from Cuba.

I really enjoyed writing those! Elsewhere we pay tribute to the late dancehall artist Merciless in our monthly Vibes column whilst Run The Track has new singles by Busy Signal, Kabaka Pyramid & Damian Marley, Black Am I, Soothsayers, Queen Ifrica, Raging Fyah and Tarrus Riley, among others. Just to finish, The Dualers (with Voices From The Sun), Lloyd Brown, Mafia & Fluxy and a bunch of reissues feature in the Album Reviews.
