Echoes Magazine - August 2026

This month's Echoes has the following reggae features - firstly, a four page spread on Buju Banton, looking back at his early days as new album Too Too Bad marks a return to his dancehall roots. Secondly, a celebration of Rafeelya's debut Real, produced by Lloyd Brown and thirdly, a reappraisal of Franco Rosso's 1979 documentary about Linton Kwesi Johnson entitled Dread Beat an' Blood.

Shenseea, Stephen Marley, Future Fambo, Stylo G and Kabaka Pyramid head the singles reviews, and Kelissa's The Good Side of Things is our Reggae Album of the Month.
