Echoes Magazine - February 2022

The first Echoes Magazine of 2022 marks their 46th year of covering the best in black music and has the usual excellent mix of soul, reggae, jazz, R&B and hip hop journalism, courtesy of writers who really know and care about their chosen subjects.

My own contributions include an exclusive preview of Koffee's new album Gifted; the story of the Soul Revivers' On The Grove and reviews of books (Martijn Huisman's impressive The Reggae Nation); albums (by Heavyweight Rockaz, Natty King and Soul Sugar) and current singles by the likes of Jah Cure, Capleton, Busy Signal, Sean & Inna, Bling Dawg and Beres Hammond.
