David Hill and Nick Manasseh's Soul Revivers are this month's cover stars and their latest album Holding It Down, to quote from the feature, "is another impressive example of what can happen when two people who genuinely love music get together, assemble a varied line-up of gifted artists and musicians, and provide them with the best possible setting to shine."

As part of Echoes' 50th Anniversary celebrations, the magazine is reprinting a series of favourite interviews from the past and this current issue has one I did in Kingston with Beres Hammond and Jah Cure in the summer of 1997. Happy memories!
