Michael Rose has long been one of my very favourite reggae singers and also one of my very favourite reggae people. You can't really say that he was making a comeback at the time this spread was written - Shootout was playing everywhere in Jamaica that autumn - because his music and that unmistakably soulful voice are always with us.
